Mobile Computer Lab ContestFun and excitement punctuated the quest for votes in the FutureReady Mobile
Computer Lab Contest, where schools from all over the country competed for five
Computer Labs provided by Dell, Microsoft and Intel. Links to the FutureReady
site were posted on school Web sites, in blogs and bulletin boards and were even
included in local newspapers. In all, more than 8,000 schools participated and

Although unconfirmed, I'm told that, unlike some other schools, Graystone gets zero dollars from the district for computer/technology support. Please Vote for Graystone Elementary School Dell computers and Microsoft Corporation are sponsoring three contests that will give computer equipment to schools. The five schools with the most visits to www.futureready.org will each win a mobile computer lab provided by Dell, Microsoft, and Intel. Each lab has an approximate retail value of $10,000 and includes Dell™ notebook computers preloaded with Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional and other Microsoft® software, mobile cart, wireless access point, and a Dell laser printer.
